The HELIOS 160 surgical lamp uses white LEDs as its light source. Its modern, monolithic dome design ensures ease of cleaning, ergonomic operation, and excellent compatibility with laminar airflow.
The lamp is designed for use in operating rooms, but it also performs well in treatment rooms, dental clinics, and veterinary clinics. The HELIOS 160 operating lamp consists of three independent light panels containing a total of 54 LEDs, enabling an illumination intensity of 160,000 lux.
The lamp can be positioned using a sterile handle located in the center of the dome, and two "dirty" handles located around its perimeter. The sterile handle also adjusts the light spot diameter, while the light intensity is regulated by a control panel located on the dome's arm. The HELIOS series lamps are available in ceiling, wall, and tripod versions
(including battery-powered versions).
